In an increasingly globalised society, the relevant training and exposure in an international curriculum will give students an edge and prepare them for future success.TIS follows an International Curriculum based on the highly valued National Curriculum of England, that culminates in IGCSE examinations and qualifications. Although emphasis is given to global perspectives, the International Curriculum embraces Asian values and literacy in Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin. The programme offers four key stages of learning, from Early Years, Primary to Secondary. Also in this section Secondary School Secondary School covers Key Stages 3 and 4. Key Stage 3 marks the beginning of Secondary education with Years 7 to 9. Primary School Primary School covers Key Stage 1 (Years 1 and 2) and Key Stage 2 (Years 3 to 6). Early Years During the Early Years (Nursery and Reception), the emphasis is on Literacy and Numeracy to prepare children to read and write well with beginning of a foundation in Mathematics.
