  • Finance Manager, TIS Hub
    The Finance Manager is responsible for the strategic management of the financial aspects of the school. The finance component consists of managing the accounting and financial operations; providing financial analysis to the school division and group finance as well as the Principal and Taylor’s Schools President.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Lead the financial management of TIS schools on matters related to school fee policies, management of funds, reporting of financial statements, annual budget, financial forecast, statutory requirements and financial internal control;
    • Make informed financial analysis recommendations for management decision making and business performance improvement within operations;
    • Contribute to the identification and formulation of strategic objectives specific to the functions supported;
    • Proactively review and challenge existing financial processes with the view of developing a shared services structure that is fit for purpose;
    • Ensure financial and resource accountability at each school, and effective management of records as required for audit and taxation, or other relevant statutory bodies;
    • Ensure adherence to the accounting standards, policies and manuals in the daily operations and preparation of accounts;
    • Review all finance policies and internal control procedures continuously to ensure they are aligned to Group policies and comply with statutory laws and regulations;
    • Prepare and consolidate financial reports from different TIS schools;
    • Manage and supervise the preparation of monthly and annual management report in ensuring accurate and timely completion and submission for group reporting;
    • Manage budget process and consolidation including periodic re-forecasts;
    • Assist the school management in the preparation of fee revision proposal;
    • Ensure an effective system is in place to for fixed asset tracking;
    • Review insurance plans and its validity to ensure adequacy of coverage as part of risk management process;
    • Assist with administration function e.g. negotiation of cafeteria contract and liaison with cafeteria operator, amongst others; and
    • Perform any other job that may be assigned from time to time.
    JOB REQUIREMENTS
    • Minimum: Bachelor Degree in Business/Economics/Finance or its equivalent. MBA an advantage.
    • At least 8-10 years’ of related experience in a similar role, preferably in an education institution, with at least 3 years in a middle management position.
    • Experience in shared services will be an added advantage.
    • Solid background in overseeing Finance functions.

  • ICT Senior Executive, TIS Kuala Lumpur
    This position reports to the ICT Manager, Taylor’s International School Hub Office and is required to liaise with the School Principal.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Ensure the smooth day to day running of ICT of the whole school.
    • Management and leadership of ICT personnel.
    • Assist academic staff to integrate ICT in the curriculum.
    • Prepare and manage the ICT budget.
    • Manage ICT resources and assets.
    • Plan and execute programmes and activities according to the ICT Strategy Plan.
    • Manage the school’s staff portal and oversee the day-to-day running of the portal.
    • Advise the School and ICT personnel on the School ICT procedures and Standard Operating Procedures.
    • Conduct ICT briefing/training of new programmes/systems for academic & administrative staff.
    • Assist the ICT Manager in handling various ICT improvement/upgrade projects in the school.
    JOB REQUIREMENTS
    • Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree or Professional Degree, in Computer Science/ Computing/ Information Technology or equivalent.
    • At least 5 – 7 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position; preferably minimum 3 years with Network Infrastructure or SQL Database related experience and 2 years as team leader.

  • ICT Senior Executive/ Executive, TIS Puchong
    Responsible for providing day-to-day first level end-user support for ICT operations of the school core system and infrastructure and report to the Assistant Manager (Service Desk).

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Provide network administration services, including setting up new users, maintaining email distribution lists, maintaining the user databases, password security, managing access policies and monitoring performance.
    • Carry out daily backup, archiving, housekeeping and other maintenance tasks on a regular and as required basis.
    • Provide support for the school servers and network equipment within the organization.
    • Assist with the production and maintenance of all network systems and server documentation and record logging.
    • Assist with the upkeep of the school ICT network and server inventory.
    • Assist on the implementation of the school ICT Strategy.
    • Responsible for the installation of new and existing network software applications.
    • Responsible for new server deployment and configuration.
    • Assist with the development and management of the cross-school ICT systems including AD, Email, VLE and Virtual Private Network (VPN), etc.
    • Monitor and manage bandwidth allocation and usage within the school.
    • Employ safe working practices and to comply with the relevant Health and Safety regulations.
    • Provide planned and ad hoc support for staff and students who have ICT queries or additional ICT requirements relating to their learning and teaching.
    • Work with users to ensure that appropriate ICT support (resources) are made available as required for classes, staff and students.
    • Ensure that learning and teaching areas within the School are maintained in a proper manner with regard to student and staff needs and available software licenses and other legal considerations. This will be achieved by working closely with other support staff

  • Marketing & Communications Executive
    The Marketing and Communication Executive is responsible as part of a team to help promote and drive school initiatives in line with marketing the school. This position will require performing a wide variety of duties to include helping planning and organizing events, developing communication, assisting with event logistics, promoting the school using social media and all that this entails.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Manage the contents of the School’s communications materials i.e., newsletter, e-broadcast, brochures, curriculum booklets, student and staff planners, calendar, etc.
    • Develop and manage the School’s online and social media content (i.e. Website, Facebook, YouTube, etc).
    • Support marketing activities and events in School.
    • Maintain good media relations to secure publicity and increase the frequency of publicity in both print and electronic media.
    • Monitor all printed media articles and circulate to all relevant school stakeholders on weekly basis.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS
