This week has been a relatively quiet one although we did have some of our Year 11 children (and staff) attending school on Wednesday (Wesak Day) for IGCSE exams. Unfortunately Wesak Day is not an officially recognised holiday in the UK - let’s hope all our students did well.

Can I thank those parents who are using the school car park in the mornings for Drop Off. The front gate has become a lot safer as a result and some parents will have seen either myself or Mr. Mike or Ms. Lynne standing there most mornings. This will continue. After school we also have seen a change this term where those children not attending ECAs are asked to wait in the car park as the school is officially closed. Please, remember therefore not to be late to come and pick up your child.

Lastly - you may have noticed there were no Sports updates in last week’s newsletter. Therefore can I urge you to read through two weeks of highlights in this edition.
