This has been a superb term of learning and achievement for all at Taylor’s and it has been a pleasure and a privilege to be working with my colleagues as Principal. I am still coming to terms with the speed at which the end of term has arrived as it only seems like a few short weeks since I first set foot in Malaysia and TISPC. However, in that time, I have been delighted at the positives that I have experienced from working with the students and teachers at this growing school.

We have celebrated our first IGCSE cohort’s graduation as well as putting in place firm development plans for academic quality improvement for the coming year. These plans will be published to parents in January. This term, we have reviewed our primary curriculum and audited the secondary progress and tracking system with outcomes from these exercises to be published in the new year. Our staff development programme has been upgraded with a strong initiative for the coming year being brought into place using an external organisation to further develop quality teaching and learning as well as focus on improving the pastoral experiences of all children at TISPC.

It has been wonderful to enjoy the celebrations of achievement in Sports and at Graduation as well as acknowledge the musical and dramatic abilities of our children in the Taylor’s Got Talent and Taylorian Rhapsody productions. In addition, our significant links with the Rotary Club have been further strengthened with events held and scheduled on campus and further afield including a fun day for underprivileged local children and helping out at a animal sanctuary.

As we approach the holidays and the festival of Christmas, we are afforded time to pause, rest and reflect on what we have achieved and how we can plan to offer a greater learning experience for our pupils in the year ahead. It is with excitement and an element of pride that I look forward to the new year at Taylor’s International School Puchong and to working with parents, students and colleagues to improve what we do, provide an excellent learning experience and enjoy seeing the children in our school learn and grow in line with our RECIPE for our future citizens.

Wishing you all an enjoyable holiday, a Merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous 2018.

May God Bless you and your families.

Kind regards,

David Flint 斐迪偉
Principal of Taylor’s International School Puchong
