19 January - Message From The Principal

Our second week back in session has been one of excitement and celebration. Firstly, the launch of the IPC for the primary school has been a great success with a great many parents attending our events geared to advise and inform about the programme and how it enhances learning  and achievement for our primary pupils. I greatly appreciate the efforts of Mr. Marco and his team as well as the support from parents as we move into this important phase of our development.

Secondly, Wednesday saw the publication of our IGCSE results. This is the first set of results for the school and reflects the hard work of our students as well as the professional quality of our staff across all age ranges of the school. I look forward to publishing an in-depth analysis of the results for all subjects but, in the meantime, I am delighted to report the following key statistics of the grades achieved by our Year 11 students:

Percentage of students achieving:

A*-A grades: 56 %

A*-B grades: 71 %

A*-C grades: 85 %

These grades are truly excellent on a world scale and I look forward to publishing more information in respect of our students’ IGCSE attainment and comparative data in the week ahead.  For the time being, I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to all of our Year 11 students and their teachers for an excellent showing in the 2017 IGCSE examinations.

Wishing you all a restful weekend and a positive week ahead,
