22nd February 2021 : As per the latest directive issued by the Ministry of Education, international schools will be allowed to reopen from the 8th of March 2021. As such, Taylor's International School, Kuala Lumpur will begin face-to-face learning from 8th March 2021.
12 January 2021 : The government has announced that Kuala Lumpur will be put under the Movement Control Order from the 13th -
4th February 2021, therefore students are not allowed to come to school and will move to full online learning with the exception of Early Years and Year 11.
Both Early Years and Year 11 will continue face to face lessons. In the event that parents do not wish to send their children to school, they would therefore need to inform the school so that online/hybrid lessons can be arranged.
4 January 2021 : Following the announcement by the Government and the Ministry of Education that international schools are allowed to resume face to face learning in school, the school will then be opened to students on the 7th January 2021.
We will continue to follow the SOPs such as mask wearing, frequent hand washing, social distancing and temperature checks when students and staff are in school.
October 2020 : Following the implementation of the conditional movement control order (CMCO) by the government, all schools in Kuala Lumpur were asked to close from the 14th to 27th October 2020.
The school has now gone back to teaching and learning via online platforms until further notice.
