Student Council 2019

Towards the end of February, voting took place for the new Student Council. Year groups chose different ways to register their votes and below you can see pictures of students on election day.

After the round of class elections and finals for each year group, the new Primary Student Council has been formed. The 8 main members of the Council are:

Year 6 - Peter Young, Maya Jasmin Mansoor
Year 5 - Joshua Zakharia, Alana Ellingham
Year 4 - Deron Perera, Pahal Mishra
Year 3 - Gong Jay, Lelia Pezzotta

The full Student Council for 2019 comprises of 75 students from Year 3 to Year 6. Students who were in the council in 2018 shall remain in position for 2019 to increase the body. This year, we intend to expand the role of the council by creating committees which will focus on certain aspects of school life.

Congratulations to the Student Council members. Mr Graeme and I look forward to working with them.
Book Week is Coming!

March 25th - 29th, we will be holding our annual celebration of books and reading. There will be a variety of activities for the children to enjoy, including our Door Decoration and Character Parade.

Parents have been volunteering to read to children during the week and we are grateful for the support.

Start thinking about which book your child should bring to school to read every day during ‘Drop Everything And Read’ and a book character costume for the parade. Perhaps you would like to dress up too?
