Dear Parent,
Term 2 finishes with a bang. It has been a long term and one that matches the stature of this school in its breadth and width of activities and events on top of the teaching and learning. A thank you to so many of you who have seen me and spoken to me during the term for your constructive suggestions and positive support.

The bang I was referring to earlier on is the Taylorians’ Rhapsody which is on today and tomorrow. In keeping with the high calibre of performances from the Performing Arts team and students I am expecting a very entertaining show.  I myself am looking forward to seeing the event tomorrow afternoon and I know that I will enjoy it and once again be awed by the sheer talent and enthusiasm of your sons and daughters. Our third Rhapsody promises to bring some of the very best songs and musical numbers with this year's theme - "Magical Melodies".

This year's production features over 130 of our Primary and Secondary students in various musical numbers and songs like "It's Possible" from Seussical The Musical, A "Star Wars" Melody, "Harry Potter" Melody, "The Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy" and "Doraemon" to name a few. Please join us for another wonderful production showcasing our top talent in music and song!

In Primary we are already practising for Merdeka Day which is a very important day in the calendar. In addition we have visitors from Japan today (Friday) and also several exit points of the various thematic units being studied.
As you know next week is a very short week due to the sudden change in the calendar with a holiday to commemorate the King’s Coronation. Therefore school will be open on Monday but thereafter the school holiday will commence. School will reopen on Monday 26 August. I wish you all a safe and restful holiday to recharge your batteries and I look forward to seeing you all in Term 3.
Thank you all.
Kind regards
Stefano Piumatti
