29 March - Message From The Principal

We have completed our penultimate week before the holidays and it has been a fruitful one.  I had a very interesting and frank discussion yesterday with Year 2 and 3 parents and am pleased to say that 35 turned up and we covered a wide range of topics. After that, I met the last batch of Year 11. It is surprising how interesting and funny the students are.  They have interesting perceptions and their experience and knowledge is very much worth listening to.
As usual, it has been a busy week and from all accounts the first night of Peter Pan last night on Thursday was an outstanding success. I can’t wait to see it tonight and congratulate all of those who have taken part in this magical production. I can’t emphasize enough the amount of hard work that has gone into this. I would also like to thank the P.E. department for their continued hard work and endeavours to improve sport. I have challenged them with this remit and the plans that were put in place last year are starting to reap benefits.  As a young school we are starting to win and compete in many more competitions than before.  With so many teams now participating, A, B and C, the skill set of our students is improving and they are enjoying the health benefits of participating in active sport. As I have mentioned before, we now have nearly 400 students taking part in inter-school sports competitions.
Two Reminders

1)    Communication
To Primary parents,
While I appreciate that REMIND has been a daily communication tool between you and the teachers on your children's progress in school, I would also like to remind you to check your Family Email regularly so that you do not miss out important messages related to the Whole School. This can be accessible via the Parent Zone link http://www.pc.tis.edu.my using your unique Family ID and password.
If you need support, please contact our Admissions team at admissions.team@pc.tis.edu.my
2)    Parent Parking Sticker
To all parents,
If you use your car to make pick up’s and drops off’s please make sure you that have your Parent Parking Sticker visible at all times. It allows to quickly discern who might be a visitor and who is a parent. It is part of keeping our children safe.
Thank you

Kind regards
