Camps & Trips
Learning Through Adventure
Outdoor Education Programme
Our Outdoor Education Programme plays a vital role in supporting the holistic development of our students at Taylor’s International School. Through thoughtfully designed camps, excursions and international experiences, students from both Primary and Secondary are given the opportunity to step beyond the classroom and engage with the world around them.
These immersive experiences cultivate independence, teamwork and resilience, helping students develop essential life skills in real-world contexts. More than just adventures, they are carefully curated opportunities for personal growth, building confidence and character in meaningful and memorable ways.
Field Trips to Residentials
At Taylor’s, we believe in the power of experiential learning beyond the classroom. For our younger learners in Primary, field trips provide meaningful opportunities to connect classroom knowledge with the world around them. Whether exploring marine life at KLCC Aquaria, discovering wildlife at Zoo Negara, learning about transportation systems in Kuala Lumpur or participating in hands-on workshops at local museums and science centres, these experiences enrich learning, ignite curiosity and foster essential social and observational skills. Field trips also nurture a sense of independence and environmental awareness, as students engage with new surroundings and real-world contexts beyond the school setting.
As students grow older, they participate in residential trips that involve staying overnight away from home and school. These immersive experiences are designed to build confidence, resilience and teamwork through a wide range of outdoor adventures, leadership tasks and group challenges. Students from Year 4 to Year 11 embark on exciting journeys to a variety of destinations, including Broga Paradise Valley, Janda Baik, Malacca and Penyabong in Johor, among many others, where they immerse themselves in nature-based adventures and meaningful cultural experiences.
Secondary students also have the opportunity to participate in international programmes that broaden their global outlook, including cultural exchange trips to Japan and China, as well as skiing trips to Austria. These overseas experiences are organised by each campus and offer students valuable exposure to different cultures, environments and learning contexts beyond the classroom.
