Dr. Avinash

Class of 2017
Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland

Serving as Taylor’s International School Puchong's first Student Council President shaped my leadership journey and prepared me for my current role as President of the Student Union at RCSI. Leading a large cohort isn’t easy, but the skills and guidance I gained from Taylor’s and its dedicated teachers made all the difference.

Rachel

Class of 2019
Berklee College of Music, U.S.

Through leadership roles in the Student Council, Interact Club and Events Committee, one of my biggest learning experiences was organizing Taylor's Got Talent. Managing a team of more than 30 taught me teamwork, delegation, time management and event execution - skills I still use today.

Hong Jing

Class of 2017,
Flinders Medical Centre, Australia

I'm part of Taylor’s International School Puchong’s first batch of graduates and now work as a medical doctor at Flinders Medical Centre in Adelaide, Australia. The most valuable skill I gained at Taylor’s was communication through the debate team, it boosted my confidence, public speaking and critical thinking, which I still rely on today.

Joshua

Class of 2018
University of Edinburgh, Scotland

The most valuable skill I gained in school was perseverance. I learned that with determination and passion, I can overcome any challenge—an attitude that has been especially helpful in university, particularly while studying abroad.

Kayato

Class of 2022,
University of Cambridge, UK

The most important lesson I learned is the value of collaboration. Studying alone only got me so far; seeking help from friends and teachers showed me that clear communication not only improves learning but also builds trust and strong connections.

Marissa

Class of 2023
Taylor’s College, Malaysia

As President of the Interact Club, I learned to manage the club, plan events, manage time, and organize documents, skills I continue to apply today in Taylor's College Student Council and will carry into the future.
