Emily brings over 23 years of teaching experience, including leadership roles as Year Leader and a valued member of the Senior Leadership Team. She played a key role in the school’s Quantum Learning Accreditation Project, coaching staff to improve classroom practice and student engagement. Her leadership is collaborative and grounded in evidence-based strategies.
She holds a Master’s in Education and is completing the NPQH. As Acting Deputy Head of Primary, Emily is dedicated to nurturing staff growth and ensuring the best outcomes for every child.
BSc in Geography (Climatology), LLPH, PGCE in Geography and History
Edward is originally from Ireland but has lived in a range of other countries since 1993. He graduated with a BSc in Geography (Climatology) from Southampton University in 1996, followed by a PGCE in Geography and History from Keele University in 1997. He has 24 years' teaching experience, with 21 of them in International Schools, in Mexico, India and the UAE. He has been a senior leader for 20 years, the last 11 of them as a Head Teacher. He also holds a PGCert in International Educational Leadership and PGDip in International Education Research from Oxford Brookes University.
Edward is passionate about ensuring that every learner is able to benefit from a truly stimulating environment, where teachers, parents and students work together in a close partnership to find success both academically and in all opportunities beyond the classroom. He is committed to teacher training and development and loves to work with all stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in teaching and learning for the whole community. He is therefore very excited to be joining a school with such a distinguished record, as evidenced in the Quantum Learning Programme.
