Proudly English, and originally a Physics teacher, Peter worked in the UK and then Hong Kong, before coming to Malaysia in 1998. His leadership experiences have balanced both the academic and guidance aspects of a child's development, and he gained the UK professional headship qualification NPQH in 2007. Peter has been Principal at this school since 2009 transforming the school from Sri Garden to TIS. He is a strong supporter of the Arts and Sport in schools, and has seen the enormous benefits a child gains from involvement in these areas. His vision of education puts TIS students at the centre of their education, with the aim to give them a diverse set of opportunities and experiences to help them build up the skill sets for a successful future.
