Express, Perform, Shine

Confidence Through The Arts

At Taylor’s International School, we believe the arts are an essential part of a well-rounded education. Through music, drama and visual arts, students develop creativity, confidence and critical thinking skills that support innovation and a solutions-oriented mindset.

From Early Years to Year 11, students engage in Art and Music as specialist-taught subjects within the curriculum, while Drama is introduced from Year 6 onwards in Secondary School. These creative disciplines lay a strong foundation that can be further pursued as IGCSE elective subjects and are enriched through a wide range of co-curricular and extra-curricular opportunities, allowing students to deepen their skills and explore their passions beyond the classroom.

Discover Performing Arts at Taylor’s

From Rehearsal to Spotlight

Performing Arts at Taylor’s offers a wide range of opportunities outside of our core curriculum giving students a chance to extend their passion and interests in art, music, dance and drama. Our commitment to high-quality performing arts education empowers students to express themselves, take creative risks, and grow through meaningful, hands-on experiences.

From full-scale annual Primary and Secondary musical productions to intimate music showcases, students are offered numerous opportunities to shine—both onstage and behind the scenes. Whether performing, choreographing, or working on props, costumes, and lighting, they gain a holistic understanding of the performing arts while discovering and refining their passions in a supportive, dynamic environment.

Performance opportunities are a true highlight. At the Puchong campus, students showcase their talents in an impressive 450-seat auditorium, delivering professionally staged productions.

At the Kuala Lumpur campus, students enjoy the unique experience of performing for live audiences in popular shopping malls in the heart of the city, bringing their creativity to life in a real-world, dynamic setting.

Looking ahead, as part of the TISKL Campus Transformation, new specialist studios for music, drama, and dance, along with an upgraded multi-purpose hall, will further enhance the Performing Arts experience, providing students with the space, tools, and inspiration to grow as confident, expressive performers.
