Celebrating Excellence: Taylor’s International School Puchong Hosts the Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards

On 23 May, Taylor’s International School Puchong proudly hosted the prestigious Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards Ceremony, organised by Cambridge International Education. The event brought together students, parents, and educators from across Malaysia to celebrate exceptional academic achievements in the November 2025 Cambridge examinations.

The ceremony recognised students who earned highly respected Top in the World, Top in Malaysia, and High Achievement awards, highlighting academic excellence at both national and international levels.

Inspiring Moments from the Ceremony

The ceremony opened with a welcoming address by the Head of Secondary, Ryan Peet, who congratulated the award recipients and thanked parents and teachers for their unwavering support throughout the students’ learning journeys.

As students took to the stage to receive their awards, family, teachers, and peers celebrated their achievements with proud applause, recognising the dedication and resilience behind their success in the Cambridge examinations.

The ceremony also featured a special performance by Ailsa, a student at Taylor’s International School Puchong, adding warmth and vibrancy to the occasion.

A Celebration of Learning and Community

Beyond the awards and certificates, the afternoon was a celebration of the supportive community that makes Taylor’s International School Puchong unique. Bringing together families, teachers, and peers, the event reflected the strong partnerships that help students thrive both academically and personally.

When reflecting on their achievements, the award winners spoke warmly about how the school’s supportive environment and dedicated teachers helped them succeed. Benjamin, who received the Top in Malaysia award for Physical Education, shared how his teachers were always kind, patient and supportive, often going the extra mile with additional classes and guidance to help students succeed. He added a heartfelt appreciation to Mr Zul for helping him grow and thrive in Physical Education.

That sense of approachability made all the difference for Vianne, too. Reflecting on her journey to becoming the Top in the World for Design & Technology, she shared that the caring and understanding nature of teachers made it easy for her to ask for help. It wasn’t just about the academics; the positive school culture and the close friendships she built helped her grow immensely as a person.

Eliam, who achieved outstanding results in both Mathematics and Accounting, described the school environment as highly motivating. Being surrounded by ambitious and hardworking peers inspired him to continually challenge himself and strive for excellence. Looking back on his success, he expressed immense gratitude to his parents and teachers for their constant guidance and support.

Parents also praised the school’s approachable teachers, supportive staff, and positive learning culture that gives students the confidence and freedom to grow into capable and well-rounded individuals.
