Many of you will have also seen when you came into the campus that we have continued to prepare for the upcoming building work. We have removed the kerbs and planter boxes close to the school in readiness for the building hoardings to be installed.
During this term, on a date, the hoardings will start to be installed and the building work will start properly. Prior to this, I will pass on very detailed information about the traffic flow arrangements, through letters and also face to face meetings.
Essentially, the school access road will be reduced to a single lane in each direction and the car park will be removed. This means that there will be NO parking on the school campus, even for a few minutes. Cars will come into the school, do a U-turn by the school library, drop-off/pick-up, and then leave. Any stopping will interrupt the flow of traffic.
Thank you to everyone who came to the Raya celebrations on Thursday evening, especially those who so generously donated ‘potluck’ food. It was a superb community event, with people mixing and enjoying the performances by the students. These events show what a supportive parent body the school has and
In May, the next session of IGCSE examinations starts, with written papers for Malay and Mandarin being taken by our Year 11 students. I would like to take this opportunity to wish these students all the best with these papers. Our main season for IGCSEs is later in the year, in October and November.
