It has been quite some time since my last website newsletter. However, the Early Years and primary school students have been enjoying participating in several online activities in recent weeks.
Year 3 students ended their unit ‘Do You Live Around Here?’ with a fabulous ‘green’ fashion show, modelling garments made from recycled materials.
Red House Rocks!
Red House students enjoyed their mini-celebration for earning the most House Points during April and May. During break time, the winners gathered in a Google Meet and received a Champions digital sticker. Red House Rocks!
Dragon Boat Festival
In Mandarin lessons, the students learned about the Dragon Boat Festival and they created their own sticky dumplings!
Not only have the students been busy with their learning, but teachers, too, have been developing their skills in the application of Quantum Learning. Hayati Hashim, QL Site Facilitator led a virtual training for over 70 enthusiastic teachers.
Teachers have been highly creative in bringing their classrooms into their homes during this extended period of online learning. Hats off to them for their 100% effort.
