Kuala Lumpur, 10th November 2021: Taylor’s International School Kuala Lumpur (TIS Kuala Lumpur) is celebrating 30 years of success as an educational institution that constantly transforms to provide exceptional education that prepares our young generation for the rapidly changing world.

30 Years of Leading Change

TIS Kuala Lumpur started as a private Malaysian curriculum school in 1991, and has today transformed into one of the leading international schools in Malaysia. It took on the British curriculum and adapted it for the Malaysian community with strong emphasis on soft skills and character building, together with the learning of three languages; English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin.

Over the past 30 years, TIS Kuala Lumpur has stood firm to its Purpose Statement of educating the youth of the world to take their productive place as leaders in the global community and led change in its commitment to a culture of continuous quality improvement. The school strives to provide the best and highest quality of teaching and learning to students by adopting the Quantum Learning methodologies. These methodologies are derived from the most effective teacher development programmes in the United States of America, which focuses on optimizing the learning of each student. TIS Kuala Lumpur modeled the best teaching and learning not only delivering quality classroom content but also to help students to make the most out of every learning opportunity. This has made TIS Kuala Lumpur a centre of excellence for teaching and learning and is the first school in the World to receive the Quantum Learning Distinguished School award.
