- Celebrating Achievements & Exciting Term 3 Updates
As we begin Term 3, we extend a heartfelt welcome to all the new families, staff, and interns joining our community. We are delighted to have you with us and look forward to partnering with you in creating a supportive and inspiring learning environment where every child can thrive.
Meet & Greet with Our New Head of Secondary
We were delighted to host Meet and Greet sessions with our new Head of Secondary, Mr. Ryan Peet, for KS3, KS4, and Year 5 & 6 parents. These sessions offered a valuable platform to connect, exchange perspectives, and establish a shared vision for Secondary education at TISPC. Parents highlighted the importance of balancing academic excellence with holistic development, emphasising character building, emotional intelligence, and resilience as essential complements to strong academic foundations.”
Outstanding IGCSE Language Results
TISPC is proud to celebrate an exceptional achievement in the recent IGCSE language examinations, with a 100% A*–C pass rate in Mandarin Chinese papers and Malay Second Language. Even more impressively, every Mandarin Chinese Second Language candidate achieved an A*–A, a testament to our students’ dedication, our teachers’ expertise, and the high standards of our language programmes. Congratulations to all our students on this remarkable success!
Secondary School Production: Beauty and the Beast
At the end of Term 2, our secondary students wowed the audience with a magical performance of Beauty and the Beast, a true celebration of creativity, teamwork, and joy. Beyond the dazzling music and costumes, the production showcased our RECIPE values and the 3Rs, as students demonstrated resilience, responsibility, and collaboration both on and off stage. Congratulations to all our talented performers and crew, and heartfelt thanks to our dedicated teachers and staff who made this inspiring evening possible.
Jump Start Programme
Our new Secondary students were warmly welcomed through Jump Start sessions, supported by CAmbassadors who guided and encouraged them. The programme helps newcomers settle in, build friendships, and feel comfortable in their learning, while also developing leadership and emotional intelligence in our CAmbassadors.
Student Leadership Lunch with Mr. BK Gan
On Thursday, 28 August, Mr. BK Gan, President and CEO of Taylor’s Schools, hosted his annual leadership lunch with Key Stage 4 student leaders. Students shared their projects, reflected on their growth, and offered feedback on enhancing leadership opportunities. Mr. Gan praised their progress and expressed confidence in the future of student leadership at TISPC
Addressing Bullying: Our Ongoing Commitment
At TISPC, we take bullying seriously and respond promptly, fairly, and in line with safeguarding procedures. Through PHSE lessons, assemblies, counselling, and our pastoral programme, we promote empathy, resilience, and responsibility. Students are encouraged to speak up, knowing their voices will be heard. Working with parents, staff, and students, we remain committed to building a culture where kindness and respect are the norm.
